"Having worked with different companies in my career in the areas of machinery industry, legal and consulting as well as construction, I have gained considerable experience in various businesses facing diverse challenges. Today, I very much consider myself as a t-shaped employee: broad skillset with a clear focus on finance. I believe that the combination of having a wide horizon together with an entrepreneurial mindset and, most of all, common sense will allow you to work successfully alongside of your clients."

Prior to joining Woodman, Mazyar worked as the CFO of CRUPE in an international and intercultural environment with operations across the world (including South America, Asia, etc.). He was focused on restructuring, turn around and change management, bringing a cost awareness culture into the company and managed the business based on low cash balances. Before that, he gained experience at Staiger, Schwald & Partner AG, a Zurich based law firm, where he was the CFO and COO responsible for the non-legal functions of the company. With his first job at Sulzer post graduation, Mazyar was exposed to top management and was able to gain intercultural experience while spending 3 years in the US.

Mazyar holds a Master’s degree (lic.oec.HSG) in Economics with a Major in Finance from the University of St. Gallen HSG.
